Here’s a sample script for you to use when calling potential clients to ask if they’re interested in selling their property:
Opening:
“Hello, is this [Name]? My name is [Your Name] and I’m a real estate agent with [Your Company]. How are you doing today?”
Body:
“I was wondering if you’ve given any thought to selling your property recently? I’ve noticed that the real estate market in your area is currently thriving and I believe that now would be a great time to list your property and take advantage of the high demand. I have a proven track record of selling homes quickly and at top dollar, and I would be honored to work with you to help you get the most out of your property.”
Closing:
“Would you be open to scheduling a time for me to come by and take a look at your property? I’ll bring some comps and talk about how I can help you get the most out of your sale. I’ll also provide you with a free market analysis. Would you be available this evening or sometime this week?”
Note:
- Make sure to research the area and have some comps (comparable sales) ready to show them when you visit.
- If they are not ready to sell, you can still ask them to keep you in mind if they ever decide to sell and keep them in your follow up list.
- Be confident and friendly throughout the call.
Good luck with your calls!
