There isn’t really any golden rule when it comes to real estate commissions, but you definitely do get what you pay for.

As with any industry or profession there are top performers, average and those scraping by. Real estate is a magnificent profession for those who manage to succeed.

As a seller, I would steer clear from any agent that agrees to cut their commissions and not try to protect their value. If they are so quick to give away their money, how quickly will they give away yours?

Make sure you “google” search potential agents. If they are truly good at their chosen career and can tell you exactly why they do what they do and love what they do, they are successful and that’s who you want on your side!
