Firstly let us begin by saying the team at Natgroup and TREC (The Real Estate Community), hope you are well personally. We also hope your business is surving as best it can and want to say thank you for assisting both tenants and landlords. We also sincerely hope your tenants and landlords and safe and calm.

Our teams are in several daily discussions with other agents, principles and researching government websites and industry body websites, to date one of our team spends 2 hours a day checking, collating and updating as best we can to assist tenants and landlords.

On 31st March, it became evident after many discussion there was a need to help tenants in what to provide as proof of hardship as well as a checklist to understand what they have already tried. Discussions on how to provide proof, what was originally needed at application time (to compare to), what courts may require, what financial institutions require all were taken into consideration. It also became evident that agencies themselves would need a checklist to handle the many requests and keep track of what part of the process they are up to.

So as such, there is now:
– Tenants Info Fact Sheet
– Covid-19 Tenants Harship Application Form
– Landlord Info Fact Sheet
– Agency Checklist
** Please let us know if there is anything else needed **

Please understand these are live, constantly changing documents and purely drafts. They are created with input from agents, landlords, tenants, property managers etc and change constantly with each government announcement. They are in Microsoft Word format for you to edit.

You will need to modify the state information if you are not in Queensland. Search your states tenancy authority, copy extracts and reference it back to them, include a url link if useful.

If you wish to turn them more into a letter, please add messages of compassion etc. For the interest of universal use, these have been kept factual.

Please comment with any useful changes, added information or updates you have made in the comment section. This is important to me as I want us all to help each other in helping landlords and tenants.
